Clear both eggs before you commit damage

A single egg left alive turns the next wave into a damage check you cannot win.

Azimanak 13 is the Hunt that checks area damage and debuff discipline. The boss itself is not complicated; the eggs are. A team that cannot clear them quickly spends most of the fight dealing a fraction of its damage.

The rewards are Immunity, Unity and Rage sets, which makes Azimanak the Hunt you farm when PvP and support gear become the priority.

The egg mechanic

Azimanak starts with two eggs. While any egg is alive:

  • Your team deals heavily reduced damage to the boss.
  • The eggs must be cleared before meaningful boss damage begins.

The eggs respawn after the boss uses two area attacks. This creates a cycle: clear eggs, damage boss, clear eggs again.

A team with weak area damage never exits the cycle. A team with strong area damage treats the eggs as a speed bump.

The debuff wipe

Every time the boss receives three debuffs, it clears all debuffs from itself. This punishes teams that apply many small debuffs without a plan.

The practical consequence:

  • Defense break must be applied deliberately, not spammed.
  • Debuffers that apply three debuffs at once can trigger the wipe before the damage lands.
  • Save the important debuff for the turn after a wipe.

This is the mechanic that separates a clean Azimanak team from a messy one.

The berserk counter

The boss counts the hits it takes. Every fourth hit triggers a berserk response with increased stats and a silence. The counter resets after the response.

Ways to manage it:

  • Time the fourth hit for a turn where the team can absorb it.
  • Bring cleanse for the silence.
  • Use fewer, larger hits rather than many small ones.
  • Kill the boss before the counters pile up.

A team that ignores the counter will lose a healer at the wrong moment and collapse.

Team structure

Job Purpose
Area damage Clears eggs
Single-target damage Kills the boss between egg cycles
Defense break Makes the boss die
Cleanse Removes silence
Sustain Survives the berserk turns

Example compositions

Standard team

Hero Role Notes
Vivian Area damage / cleanse / immunity Covers three jobs
Bellona Area damage / defense break Egg clearing and boss damage
Tamarinne Healing / CR push / attack buff Keeps the cycle fast
Charles Damage / defense break Front-line pressure

Vivian is the standout here because she clears eggs, prevents silence and provides immunity. A team without her needs another source of cleanse.

Budget team

Hero Role Notes
Bellona Area damage / defense break The core
Angelic Montmorancy Cleanse / healing Specialty change required
Kluri Defense break / utility Specialty change required
A stable earth DPS Damage Replace with your best option

The budget team is slower but functional. It needs more gear because it clears eggs less cleanly.

Damage-first team

Hero Role Notes
Bellona Area damage Eggs
Arbiter Vildred Area damage / damage Eggs and boss
Tamarinne Support Healing and buffs
Destina Cleanse / healing Safety

This version trades stability for speed. It works when the gear is strong enough to skip a full egg cycle.

Stat targets

Hero Speed HP Other
Vivian 190-210 15,000+ Effect Resistance, Attack%
Bellona 180-200 14,000+ Effectiveness 55%+, Attack 3,500+
Tamarinne 220-240 18,000+ HP%, Speed
Charles 170-190 16,000+ Defense, HP%, Effectiveness

Tamarinne wants speed because her buff and CR push keep the egg cycle short. Vivian wants enough effect resistance to avoid the silence before her cleanse.

Skill timing

  • Open with area damage to clear the first eggs.
  • Apply defense break after the debuff wipe, not before it.
  • Hold the cleanse until the berserk silence lands.
  • Use the biggest single-target skill in the window after the eggs are down.

Auto-battle will use area skills on cooldown. If the team is failing because eggs are not cleared, check whether the area skill is being held by the skill priority.

Gear

Hero Set Why
Vivian Speed + Immunity Cleanse and silence protection
Bellona Attack or Destruction Egg and boss damage
Tamarinne Speed + Health Buff uptime
Charles Health or Defense Front-line stability

Immunity is genuinely useful here. The berserk silence is the most common reason a stable team becomes unstable.

Common failure points

Low area damage. Eggs survive, boss damage stays reduced.

Debuff spam. The boss wipes its debuffs before defense break lands.

No cleanse. The silence stops the healer.

Ignoring the hit counter. The fourth hit lands on a critical turn.

Killing eggs but not following up. The window after the eggs is where the boss damage happens.

Is Azimanak worth farming?

Yes, once PvP gear matters. Immunity sets are core to Arena defense and RTA supports, and Unity sets enable dual-attack compositions. Rage sets fit slow bruisers.

Farm Azimanak after Wyvern and Golem. It is not a first Hunt because its sets do not accelerate your initial PvE progress as much as Speed and Attack.

FAQ

What is the main mechanic in Azimanak 13?

Two eggs sit in front of the boss and reduce your damage by 80% while alive. Clear them with AoE before they respawn.

Why does my team lose after the first wave?

The boss clears its debuffs every three applications and enters a berserk phase after repeated hits. You need consistent debuff reapplication, not one opening rotation.

Which heroes are good for Azimanak 13?

Vivian, Bellona, Tamarinne and Charles cover AoE, defense break, healing and damage. Budget teams need a reliable stripper and enough survivability to outlast the berserk phase.
