Wyvern 13 is the first Hunt that matters and the one that traps the most accounts. The fight is not a pure damage check. It is a debuff check with a shield phase, and a team that ignores the mechanics will wipe even with excellent gear.

The standard auto team is Brieg, Furious, Muwi and Sigret. It is not the only team, but it is the cheapest coherent core: one tank, two debuffers and one damage dealer, all Ice, all with jobs that reinforce each other.

Why this team works

Hero Job Key contribution
Brieg Front-row tank Survives the breath, applies debuffs
Furious Debuffer Defense break and consistent debuff count
Muwi Debuffer / support Extra debuffs and team utility
Sigret Damage Kills before the shield phase becomes lethal

Wyvern targets the front slot. Brieg stands there, absorbs the single-target hits and keeps the back line alive. Furious and Muwi keep at least two debuffs on the boss, which reduces its damage. Sigret converts that setup into damage.

All four are Ice. That matters because non-Ice heroes give the boss combat readiness, which lets it take extra turns and chain the breath into the shield phase.

Non-Ice units speed the boss

A non-Ice hero in the team is not a neutral swap. It speeds the boss up. If you must use one, compensate with more debuffs and a faster damage dealer.

The mechanics that kill runs

Wyvern 13 has three checks.

Debuff count. The boss deals reduced damage while it has two or more debuffs. Keeping three on it is safer than keeping two. Defense break, bleed, poison, burn and slowdown all count.

The shield phase. At set health thresholds, Wyvern gains a shield and prepares Tail Swing. Break the shield before the cast completes or it follows with Dragon's Might, a team-wide hit that ends most runs. Save a high-damage skill or a dual attack for this window.

The front row. Only the front hero is targeted by the basic breath. If the tank dies, the next hero moves forward and the run collapses. Tank survivability is not optional.

Stat targets

These are starting targets for a stable auto team, not the minimum to enter the stage.

Hero Speed HP Defense Other
Brieg 160-180 20,000+ 1,600+ Effectiveness 55%+
Furious 200-220 12,000+ 900+ Effectiveness 65%+, Crit Chance 50%+
Muwi 180-200 14,000+ 1,000+ Effectiveness 65%+
Sigret 130-150 12,000+ 800+ Attack 4,000+, Crit Damage 300%+, Crit Chance 85%+

Furious is the fastest because his defense break should land before Sigret's damage. Muwi follows with more debuffs. Sigret moves after the setup, not before it.

Brieg does not need to be fast. He needs to survive. HP and Defense first, then Effectiveness for his debuffs.

Read the failure point

If the run fails at the shield, add damage or a dual-attack artifact. If it fails before the shield, add tank survivability or debuff consistency.

Turn order

  1. Furious opens with defense break.
  2. Muwi adds debuffs and pressure.
  3. Sigret uses her damage skills into the debuffed boss.
  4. Brieg holds the front and refreshes debuffs.

The order is a guideline. What matters is that the debuffs land before the damage, and that the team has a plan for the shield phase. A Sigret that moves before Furious is wasting her biggest turns.

Gear

Hero Set Main stats Substats
Brieg Health or Defense HP%, Defense%, Speed HP%, Defense%, Effectiveness, Speed
Furious Speed + Hit Speed, Effectiveness, HP% Effectiveness, Speed, HP%
Muwi Speed + Hit Speed, Effectiveness, HP% Effectiveness, Speed, HP%
Sigret Attack or Destruction Attack%, Crit Damage, Speed Crit Damage, Attack%, Crit Chance, Speed

Speed boots on Furious and Muwi are close to mandatory. Sigret can use Attack boots if the team already provides enough speed, but a slow Sigret needs the debuffers to survive longer.

Crit Chance is a trap on Sigret if you overcap it. Build to the cap against Wyvern, then put the remaining substats into Crit Damage and Attack.

Budget substitutions

Missing hero Substitute What changes
Brieg Any Ice Knight with high HP Tankier gear, slower runs
Furious Another consistent defense breaker Lower debuff uptime
Muwi Alexa or Mistychain More damage or healing, fewer debuffs
Sigret Another Ice single-target DPS Longer fights, higher gear bar

The further you move from the core, the more gear the team needs. A budget team can clear Wyvern 13, but it will not do it at 99% consistency without investment.

Auto settings

  • Turn off skills that apply unnecessary debuffs if they compete with defense break.
  • Keep Sigret's damage skills available for the shield phase.
  • Use a dual-attack artifact on a support if the shield is the failure point.
  • Set the tank to prioritize survival, not damage.

Auto-battle uses skill priorities, not intelligent timing. A team that clears manually may fail on auto because a skill was used too early. Watch one run and adjust the skill order before blaming the gear.

How to know the team is ready

A stable Wyvern 13 team should:

  • Clear in under three minutes.
  • Survive a missed defense break.
  • Break the shield without a manual skill.
  • Win at least eight out of ten runs.

If the team clears but the rate is below eight out of ten, fix the weakest link before farming. Failed runs still cost energy.

What to do with the gear

Wyvern drops Speed, Hit and Crit sets. Keep:

  • Speed boots with speed substats.
  • Speed set pieces with Effectiveness.
  • Crit Chance and Crit Damage pieces for Sigret.
  • Hit set pieces for Furious and Muwi.

Sell flat-stat pieces and anything without speed or a percentage stat. The gear guide explains the keep rules.

Next step after Wyvern

Once Wyvern 13 is stable, build a second Hunt team for the sets Wyvern does not drop. Golem gives Attack, Health and Defense; Banshee gives Destruction, Lifesteal, Counter and Effect Resistance; Azimanak gives Immunity, Unity and Rage.

Do not farm a second Hunt before the first one is consistent. Gear quality compounds, and a second mediocre team slows both farms.

FAQ

What is the best Wyvern 13 auto team?

Brieg, Furious, Muwi and Sigret is the standard budget core. Brieg tanks, Furious and Muwi keep debuffs up, and Sigret supplies the damage.

Why does my Wyvern team fail at the shield?

The shield phase is a damage check. Add damage, a dual-attack artifact, or save Sigret's burst for the shield instead of using it on the opening turns.

Can I use non-Ice heroes?

You can, but each non-Ice hero gives the boss combat readiness and speeds up its turn cycle. If you bring one, add more debuffs and expect a higher gear requirement.
