Epic Seven Banshee 13 Team
Epic Seven Banshee 13 teams explained: the split mechanic, earth damage bonus, cleanse checks and stable auto compositions.

Banshee 13 is the Hunt that punishes greedy teams. The boss does not simply hit hard; it splits into copies, silences the team and clears buffs at fixed health thresholds. A team with no cleanse and no area damage will clear the first phase and die in the second.
The reward is worth the trouble. Banshee drops Destruction, Lifesteal, Counter and Effect Resistance, four sets that define bruisers, solo farmers and PvP supports.
The split mechanic
Banshee splits at two health thresholds. At each split, the boss:
- Silences the team.
- Clears its own debuffs.
- Creates four copies.
The copies must be cleared within three turns. If they survive, Banshee follows with a team-wide attack that ends most runs. This is the check that separates a stable team from a lucky one.
The copies are the reason area damage is mandatory. A single-target team can kill one copy per turn and still lose.
Earth damage rules
Banshee 13 favors earth heroes:
- Earth heroes deal increased damage to the boss.
- Non-earth heroes take increased damage from the boss.
This does not mean a non-earth hero cannot be used. It means the team needs more healing and defense to compensate. A strong non-earth damage dealer can still work if the rest of the team handles the splits.
The elemental bonus is not a suggestion. A full non-earth team takes noticeably more damage and needs a stronger healer than the same team with earth heroes.
Team structure
A stable Banshee 13 team has four jobs:
| Job | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Area damage | Clears the four copies |
| Single-target damage | Pushes the boss through thresholds |
| Cleanse | Removes silence and poison |
| Sustain | Keeps the team alive through the split turns |
One hero can cover two jobs. Bellona, for example, brings area damage and defense break. Destina brings cleanse and healing. The goal is to cover all four jobs without doubling up on a role that is already solved.
Example compositions
Standard earth team
| Hero | Role | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Bellona | Area damage / defense break | The core of most Banshee teams |
| Cermia | Single-target damage | Bursts through thresholds |
| Destina | Cleanse / healing | Handles silence and poison |
| Roana | Sustain / counter support | Stabilizes long fights |
This team is expensive but forgiving. Bellona clears the copies, Cermia handles the boss, Destina removes the silence, and Roana keeps the team alive.
Budget earth team
| Hero | Role | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Bellona | Area damage | The one hero worth building around |
| Cermia | Damage | Can be replaced by another earth DPS |
| Angelic Montmorancy | Cleanse / healing | Specialty change required |
| Kluri | Defense break / utility | Specialty change required |
The budget version leans on two specialty-change heroes. It is slower and less stable, but it clears.
One-shot approach
A one-shot team skips the split mechanic by killing Banshee before the second threshold. This requires high damage and specific heroes. It is a gear check, not a beginner strategy.
If you are still building your first Banshee team, ignore one-shot compositions. They require stats that a new account does not have.
Stat targets
| Hero | Speed | HP | Other |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bellona | 180-200 | 14,000+ | Attack 3,500+, Crit Damage 250%+ |
| Cermia | 160-180 | 13,000+ | Attack 3,800+, Crit Damage 280%+ |
| Destina | 200-220 | 18,000+ | HP% and Effect Resistance |
| Roana | 180-200 | 18,000+ | HP%, Defense%, Effect Resistance |
Cleanse timing matters more than raw speed. A Destina that moves after the silence can remove it before the copies act. A Destina that moves too early cleanses nothing.
Skill timing
- Hold the area skill until the copies appear.
- Cleanse immediately after the silence.
- Use defense break before the damage dealer's biggest skill.
- Save the burst for the threshold, not for the first turn.
Auto-battle will not always hold skills correctly. Check the skill priority settings and turn off area skills that fire before the split if the team is failing there.
Gear priorities
| Hero | Set | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Bellona | Attack or Destruction | Area damage and defense break |
| Cermia | Destruction or Attack | Single-target burst |
| Destina | Speed + Health | Cleanse uptime |
| Roana | Speed + Health | Sustain and counter support |
Effect Resistance on the cleanser is not wasted. A silenced cleanser cannot cleanse.
Common failure points
No area damage. The copies survive and the run ends.
No cleanse. The silence stops the healer, and the team dies over two turns.
Too many non-earth heroes. The damage taken bonus overwhelms the healer.
Bursting too early. Damage before the threshold is wasted if the team cannot handle the split.
Ignoring speed on the cleanser. The cleanse must happen after the silence, not before it.
Is Banshee worth farming?
Yes, but not first. Wyvern is the better first Hunt because Speed and Crit sets fit more heroes. Banshee becomes important when you build bruisers, Lifesteal farmers and Counter units for Arena defense.
Farm Banshee after Wyvern 13 is stable. The hunt farming guide explains the order.
FAQ
What makes Banshee 13 different from Wyvern?
Banshee splits into four clones at health thresholds and punishes slow clears with a team-wide attack. You need AoE damage and a cleanse, not just single-target damage.
Which team clears Banshee 13 safely?
Bellona, Cermia, Destina and Roana are a stable core. Budget options include Angelic Montmorancy and Kluri, but the damage check is tighter.
Why do earth heroes matter here?
Banshee takes extra damage from earth heroes and deals extra damage to non-earth heroes. A full earth team reduces both the damage check and the survivability check.
